Frequently Asked Questions

Do you sell  physical products on this site?

Not at this time, but if you visit us at a convention, you can see our physical products there!

How many days per week and weeks per year are the STAR reading plans?

The STAR reading plans are set up over a 28-week school year. As far as the amount of days to spend on STAR reading each week, that is up to you!

Can I use the STAR reading plans if I am not in a STAR community?

Yes! You can use the STAR reading plans in your home, while being a part of any community or no community.

What ages are the STAR reading plans designed for?

All ages! If you're following Charlotte Mason's methods, I recommend waiting to begin formal education until the age of six.

You mention "Whole-Family Learning" a lot, but what if I'm only homeschooling one child?

I think you will still find the STAR reading plans to be a great fit for your homeschool!

What if I don't like some of the books you have listed? What if I want to use some different books?

Not a problem! There are many options to choose from. And if you have book suggestions for me, there is a space to let me know, under every subject! If you want to create a custom schedule with your own books, make sure to purchase the paid plan, and there's an option for that!
